Magic Mike XXL Trailer Released: Channing Tatum 'Strips' for the Last Time

The release of the trailer on Wednesday this week for the upcoming Magic Mike XXL just set a bomb in the world of women as Channing Tatum with his crew is back for more surprises, fun and hot bodies.

The 90-second trailer shows a montage of scenes from the movie with Ginuwine's "Pony" in the background. Most scenes showed Channing Tatum's signature abs as he showcased some dance moves and his steamy grinding around the pole.

According to the Chicago Defender, Magic Mike XXL talks about Mike's (Channing Tatum) new life after he decided giving up his old career being a pole dancer. Despite his decision to forget about his past, he still came to see his old Kings and Tampa buddies. However, Mike's friends wanted to make history and to perform one last time for Myrtle Beach. The story goes on as Mike meet new friends and learned new tricks in the dance floor set to make a louder squealing from the audience.

Some characters from 2012's Magic Mike are not in included in this sequel including Matthew McConaughey and Alex Pettyfer, Variety reports.

However, roles performed by Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez and Gabriel Iglesias are reprised and they are here to join in Mike's stripping convention.

Amber Heard, Michael Strahan, Donald Glover, Jada Pinkett Smith, Elizabeth Banks and Andie MacDowell will also appear in the movie.

The last Magic Mike in 2012 is said to have earned more than $167 million worldwide from its original $7million invested budget.

On February 4, Channing Tatum talked about the trailer on his official Twitter account saying "Look, but you can't touch...until tomorrow. Tune in to @theellenshow! #MagicMikeXXL", according to UT San Diego.

Meanwhile, readers of the MTV have reacted positively to the new Magic Mike XXL trailer.

"Omg, this trailer was shared by a friend and I was chilly this morning but not now. Without even drinking my coffee! Definitely a ladies night movie, don't think spouses or significant others would want to join until you come home, lol!" one user said.

"With my birthday in July, I see this as my birthday present! Thanks CT xx," goes another comment.
