Kendrick Lamar's highly anticipated album still does not have a release date.

Lamar and his label, TDE (Top Dawg Entertainment), have continued to keep his latest album hidden away from the public with no album title or album cover released.
Despite the lack of information surrounding the 27-year-old rapper's album and its tracks, many close friends and colleagues have expressed their excitement.

"Kendrick really stepped his game up," Jay Rock, a fellow "labelmate," stated to Billboard.

Schoolboy Q added, "He's [Lamar] perfecting that s***, 18 hours a day."

Lamar reportedly worked with several musicians, such as Pharrell Williams, Dr. Dre and George Clinton. During his performance on The Colbert Report, Lamar performed a new, untitled track that many believed would be in his new album. Lamar, however, has stated that the track will not be a part of his new album.

All Lamar has revealed about his latest work is: "It's a good album. That's what I can tell you."

Lamar's first studio album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, came out in 2012. Since then, fans have been waiting for the rapper to release another one.

Fans will finally get a taste of Lamar's upcoming album over the next months. The rapper is scheduled to perform in musical festivals to promote his music. Lamar will also headline one day at the Wireless Festival in July with Avicii.

Drake will open up the musical festival on July 3. Nicki Minji and David Guetta will end the weekend festivities on July 5. Childish Gambino, Logic, Joey Bada$, G-Eazy, ILoveMakonnen, August Alsina and Grandmaster Flash will perform as well. The festival takes place in the United Kingdom.
