Shad Moss and Erica Mena Engaged: New Reality TV Show in the Works?
Shad Moss, more widely known as Bow Wow, will tie the knot with his girlfriend, Erica Mena after dating for less than six months.
News of their engagement first came out when Mena, the VH1's Love & Hip-Hop star was asked during the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards if Bow Wow, who prefers to be called Shad Moss, was her boyfriend. Mena surprised everyone when she replied, "Uhh...he's actually my fiancé." The pair has been linked for months but did not make many public appearances together.
To confirm the engagement, the couple posted the same photo on their respective social media pages. The picture showed off Mena's huge engagement ring right next to Moss's Rolex.
The happy couple reportedly met when Mena made an appearance on BET's 106 & Park, a show that Moss hosted. 106 & Park was canceled in November. Mena recently stated in an interview with Vibe that she plans on leaving her reality TV show.
"It's time to be a wife," Mena said. "It's time to be the woman my man needs. My man don't need a girl that's on TV, my man needs a girl by his side. That's really what it's about right now for me. It's kind of bittersweet, this whole process, especially filming this last season [of 'Love and Hip Hop.'] Even though there's still the Erica Mena crazy stuff going on, this really is the best season ever for me."
Although Mena has not left the show, people are starting to speculate that a reality TV show could be in the works for the couple, who plan on having an April wedding.
