Although the Super Bowl is supposed to be a night about football, over the years, other aspects of the night, such as the half time show and the Super Bowl ads have received a lot of attention.

This year, pop star Katy Perry will take the stage and here is what you can expect for the show:

1. Perry will sing her hit songs

Perry revealed on ESPN's Sportscenter that she will try and squeeze "in as many familiar hits as possible" before adding that she just wants people to have fun and enjoy it. With a lot of hits to her name, this could mean a total of at least nine songs. Some of which are "Roar," "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)," "Firework," one of her very first hits, "I Kissed a Girl."

2. Lenny Kravitz will be there but he won't be the only guest

Perry announced that one of her guests will be Kravitz, "an incredible rock 'n' roll icon, a guitar god." The pair has been working together to come up with interesting ideas. Kravitz told E! during the red carpet of the SAG Awards that the song choice will be unexpected. Since Perry called Kravitz her first guest, you can expect other surprise artists taking the stage as well.

3. There should be no surprises

Despite the rumors that Perry will use the big stage to debut a new song that supposedly insults Taylor Swift, Perry has stated that she does not plan on sabotaging this opportunity.

"There's no trying to sabotage myself," Perry said. "I have no other motive besides the music and to share the songs that I've created over the years."

All fans can also expect Perry to wear several costumes throughout the night but while we all wait for Sunday to come around faster, Perry shared a cute photo on Instagram of her toenails, which have been painted to look like footballs.
