Google has updated Chrome for iOS. The new update has the new look with Material Design "bringing bold graphics, fluid motion and tactile surfaces." The new Chrome now supports iOS handoff feature - pick up where you left off on your other devices.

The new update, which brings Chrome for iOS to Version 40.0.2214.61 has also been optimized for iOS 8 and supports bigger phones (iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus).

Material Design is a design language developed by Google that uses grid-based layouts, responsive animations and transitions, padding and depth effects such as lighting and shadows.

Google aims to make the experience of using apps on Android and iOS uniform.

Apart from the above mentioned features and optimization for iPhone 6/6 Plus, the update also has stability improvements and bug fixes.

The app update is now available for iOS users via App Store.
