Gwen Stefani Returns As 'The Voice' Season 12 Judge; Will There Be A Power Couple in The Judge's Seat?
The Voice Season 12 sees lovers Gwen Stefani and Blake Sheldon competing against each other for the best singers for the season. If the premiere is any indication of how the new season will be for The Voice, then the fans and contestants are in for a great season.
Gwen Stefani has returned and she will not only be competing with Adam Levine and Alicia Keys but her real life boyfriend Blake Shelton as well. The premiere episode was an interesting mix of fun and laughter and it is quite obvious that The Voice Season 12 will definitely be interesting.
Fellow Judge Adam Levine can't help but take potshots at the off-screen relationship between Blake and Stefani. Others may be wondering if the two will work together and play a "power team" but it seems that the couple will be as competitive as ever. Observers at E! are even saying that this may just be the best season ever in terms of chemistry between the judges. Plus the fact that it seems that all four The Voice Season 12 judges are fun and interesting.
It is not sure if the love birds show PDA during the premiere is part of the script or if it is real but Adam can't help but take advantage of it. At one point when only Blake and Gwen turned their chairs around, Blake literally gave it to Gwen on a silver platter. This made Adam ask Blake what is happening and if he is okay.
Everything that happened during the premiere of The Voice Season 12 may or may not be scripted but viewers can be sure that this will be a great season. Good thing that the Blind Auditions last Monday had a few talents that are worth a second look and this could be a good omen that The Voice Season 12 if off to a good start.
