"Dripping" is a new method of some teens that are into vape. This method is set to make the flavor taste batter and gives the user a stronger hit according to a new study.

According to a report, one out of four teens who vape have tried the "dripping" method. This method involves dropping the liquid directly to the hot coil of the device. The method gives the liquid a stronger and better taste.

This new method of the "dripping" may be harmful for users of vape. This method may expose the users to nicotine and non-nicotine substances that are harmful to the health. These toxins that the user may directly inhale are formaldehyde and acetaldehyde.

The lead author of the study and a professor in the psychiatry department of Yale University School of Medicine, Suchitra Krishnan-Sarin, shares that this is the first systematic evaluation on teens that use the "dripping" method.

"Dripping" may harm one's health since the liquid used for vaping contains some toxins. The toxins are inhaled directly and may lead to pulmonary problems. It is also indicated that the liquids used in vape contain nicotine and nicotine is addictive. There may be more teens getting to use vape since it is also very popular.

Meanwhile, Krishnan-Sharin knew about the practice of "dripping" among teens while speaking to some of them. In the survey that the team of researchers made, 26 percent of teenagers who have tried the method. The users being studied come from eight Connecticut high schools.

The process of "dripping" may release stronger nicotine, and this may harm the teenagers' brain development. In the study, it is discovered that most of the ones who tried the method are boys. It is further noted in a report that more study is needed f dripping is done only once or it is done most of the time.
