'Big Bang Theory' Updates: Sheldon & Amy Engagement, Spinoff To Feature Young Sheldon, & TheTV Series Rating

The "Big Bang Theory" had ranked second in ratings with 5.0 (L+3 18-49 rating) following Sunday Night Football Buccaneers/Cowboys with 8.1. Not so far from "Big Bang Theory" follows NBC show the Thursday Night Football Rams/Seahawks with 4.3. From the same net as Big Bang, CBS, the "Survivor-F" is in rank 9 with 2.4 together with another CBS show "60 minutes" and ABC shows "Designated Survivor". This rank belongs to the top 25 broadcast show for Dec. 12-18.
For the "Big Bang Theory" storyline, one of the interesting aspects of the series is Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy's relationship. From a simple relationship contract, it evolved into a physical one. Now, everyone expected another big step in their relationship but according to an article the big step - their engagement, might take long before it really happens. In the show, the relationship of Amy and Sheldon have progressed a lot as they started to live together.
Some think that Sheldon and Amy's relationship in "Big Bang Theory" must take the step but some argue that it is not yet a good idea. The "Shamy" relationship have the possibility of having an engagement and it is on the table but according to the executive producer of the show, Steve Molaro, that there are a lot of fun things to do with the show so they are not rushing on the idea of engagement.

An exciting news also had risen regarding the plan for a "Big Bang Theory" spin-off. It's no longer an idea as it was reported that the casting process is already on works. The story will mostly revolve around the prequel version of Sheldon Cooper, in this spinoff fans would get to see how he ended up as the Sheldon Cooper everyone knows. Jim Parsons, Chuck Lorre, and Steve Molaro are all focusing on looking for the perfect 8-11 age actor. The Sheldon to be expected are labeled as confident, short-tempered, fiercely ritualistic and arrogant. The TV series "Big Bang Theory" will be back for more fun events on February 2, 2017, on CBS at 8 p.m.
