Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Update, News: Four New Maps And Creepy Rave In The Redwoods Mode In New DLC
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is getting its very first DLC very, very soon.
Activision just announced today that the very first Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC, Sabotage is making its big release on PlayStation 4 on Jan. 31 next year. Bringing with it a new episode for the Zombie mode of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, the Sabotage DLC adds in four new maps for the multiplayer campaign of the popular first person shooter game.
One of these four maps is Neon, a brightly lit, virtual combat type of arena that follows the rules of the regular multiplayer maps in Call of Duty. There's also a map set in a futuristic version of Brooklyn City called Noir and Renaissance a map which lets gamers brawl in the watery domain of Venice in Italy. The fourth map in the new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC is Dominion, a newer version of the Afghan map in Modern Warfare 2 where the city is relocated to Mars.
The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's patch also brings with Rave in the Redwoods, a chapter which gets more color to the first person game's Zombie mode. The mode is described as a terrifying zombie adventure reminiscent of the 90's taken from the imaginative mind of director Willard Wyler.
"We're excited to introduce a new chapter to our zombies experience, taking players into a spooky 1990s summer camp straight out of the horror films of the decade," Dave Stohl, Infinity Ward's Studio Head said in a statement on Venture Beat.
Staged in an abandoned summer camp by the lakeside, the Rave in the Redwoods gives gamers an eerie feel as they get to see Zombies in Spaceland's co-op mode heroes reappear in Rave in the Redwoods with Willard Wyler trapping them in another twisted horror film game.
