Mariah Carey Throws Shade At Arianna Grande And Demi Lovato: Says She Doesn’t Know Them
Arianna Grande and Demi Lovato surely are popular and are known around the world but it seemed like not everyone does. Mariah Carey said that she does not know the "Heart Attack" and the "Side to Side" singer at a TV show on Sunday.
The "We Belong Together" diva appeared on Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live" where she played the "Plead the Fifth" game with the host, Fox News reports. When Mariah was asked about Arianna and Demi, she said that she does not know both of the singers. The diva also said that she's not really familiar because she listens more to hip-hop than pop music.
Two years ago, the "Side to Side" singer and the Grammy-award winning diva were compared and Mariah dismissed the comparison between them. The "Hero" diva also said that she does not know Demi Lovato either, and would not say anything to the "Skyscraper" singer. She also added that Demi should come up to her and introduce herself, then tell her about her opinion, and that's how she should handle it.
According to LA Times, it was Demi who first threw shade at Mariah in social media, defending Arianna on the comparison issue back in June. The "Stone Cold" singer admitted that Mariah is a legend and talented but disses people most of the time. Demi also said that though talented and may be considered a superhuman, Mariah is absolutely unnecessarily rude to people.
Mariah was also asked about other music artists; Lady Gaga who she said she had a nice conversation with, Taylor Swift who is really sweet, Katy Perry a nice girl and Britney Spears, who Mariah said she loves. The diva also said she may know Miley Cyrus whom she thinks she met in a bathroom and Madonna who she never had a conversation with, according to Daily Mail.
