'Borderlands 3' News, Release Date: 'Borderlands 3' To Be Released This 2017; Crossover Between 'Gears Of War' Happening?

Alien invasion has been one of the most common genres in role-playing games nowadays. And, Borderlands 3 is just one of tho most addictive games for players using not just Playstation 3, but game consoles as well like Xbox One.

Originally released in October 2009, the game became a hit. It featured the well known heroes of the story like Roland the Soldier, Mordecai the Hunter, Lilith the Siren, and Brick the Berserker. And now, the confirmation of its near release has become a viral news story nowadays.

It was featured at Christian Times, that the remastered first-player shooting game will be released in the early second quarter next year, particularly April 7, 2017. Regarding this, the Chief Executive Officer of Gearbox Software, Randy Pitchford, revealed and showed some teasers for the upcoming Borderlands 3. He furthered shared at a conference, that the third installment of the game is no longer a secret for they really anticipated more versions of this game.

Nevertheless, he added that the team may no longer use the name Borderlands 3, and look for other enticing names instead. It was reported that they would release an amazing and surprising announcement. 

But, rumors are already circulating, that there may be a cross-over game happening both Borderlands and Gears of War. That is one of the implications from Pitchford's tweet just lately this month. His tweet was actually a response from a fan, saying that a cross over game between Gears of War and Borderlands would be great for them. Also, one of the speculations that came out recently was about the possible comeback of Brothers In Arms. But again, Pitchford denied acquiring any franchise from other parties regarding this matter.

He reiterated, that what was only sure was that they would release another series of Borderlands, last PAX East in April this year. With the never-ending demand of excellent and challenging games in this world nowadays, companies are now exerting more effort and innovativeness in meeting the players' demands on gaming. And one proof of that is the Borderlands.
