'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 9 'Phaedra' Continues Shadow Throw With Former BFF Kandi, Are We Seeing Lifetime Foes Or Future Reconciliation?
The unfeigned dailies of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" do not only contain stories of failed relationships, infidelity, insecurities but also on strengthening pacts as 'friend wives'. The relationships ups and downs are sometimes disturbing, but we followers pick up real life lessons.
First on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" list are the parents of Ace, Kandi and Todd. Previously, the couple had a difficult try out conceiving for their first born. And now that Ace is nearing a year old, the couple is still undecided of adding another baby in the family. Their priorities at the moment demands to forego 'talks' on having one more.
While couples Kandi and Todd are sailing well in their relationship, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Phaedra is living the opposite. She is still adjusting to her new status, as single mom, and a career woman 'must be'. Her split to Apollo Nida is now taking its toll on the family's emotional and financial state. Phaedra is thankful for a little help from great friend Porsha.
The single mom needs extra hand to help her rear the growing toddlers. It was also shown on screen how hilarious the kids spend their energy with Porsha. The young woman felt both tired and drained watching over the young boys and their 'mind blowing' before bed time routine.
Talking of Porsha Williams, "The Real Housewives of Atlanda" decided to meet Todd's family. But it was quite a disappointment to Porsha as Todd was tensed the whole dinner time. He did not speak a word. Seemed like he is weighing out the issue and guarding too much of his action or thoughts. Lauren, her sister intervened, for a positive cause. She wants to have an assurance from Todd that Porsha will be well taken cared off. And Todd made a stand. Confirming his clean intention and this left a delight in Porsha's heart.
Meanwhile, the rift between former Bff's Kandi and Phaedra continues to fire up. Instead of a reconciliation dinner, Phaedra highlighted on her personal lists attacking Kandi. Her lack of support and the throw of mud toward Phaedra stained the friendship. "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" bluntly confirmed that they are not friends anymore.
Will the friendship ever find another chance to these ladies who formerly treat themselves as sisters? More to follow when "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" returns on Sundays (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
