Wynn Las Vegas has confirmed that they're already planning to install 4,748 rooms at the hotel with Amazon's Echo. Steve Wynn, chairman and CEO of Wynn Resorts, also know as the highest paid hotel CEO of 2015, is making a large difference that guests can control their rooms with the Amazon Echo, Amazon's hands-free voice-controlled speaker.

The resort will be the first in the world to let the guests control the hotel room features with voice commands via Alexa, the brain behind Echo. Guests will be able to control room lights, room temperature, television, and drapery with a series of voice commands.

Installation is expected to begin this month and to be finished in all resorts suits by summer 2017. Other hotels like Marriot's Aloft properties, already have voice-activated rooms but Wynn  LasVegas is really the first to double down on the technology and assured that every single room will have the said technology.

Steve Wynn said: "If I have ever seen anything in my 49 years of developing resorts that have made our job of delivering a perfect experience to our guests easier and help us get to another level, it is Alexa. "The ability to talk to your room is effortlessly convenient. In partnership with Amazon, becoming the first resort in the world in which guests can verbally control every aspect of lighting, temperature and the audio-visual components of a hotel room is yet another example of our leadership in the world of technology for the benefit of all of our guests."

Amazon's Echo Technology used by hotel industries will have to major benefits. First, it will enable developers to add or create more travel-related skills for Alexa. Second, it will increase the Echo sales for home use as well, and once hotel guests are able to experience Alexa, a big possibility that they will be also using the Echo on their respective homes.
