"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 Spoilers, Theories & Predictions: Who Killed Wes? Annalise In Prison: For How Long?

The mystery of who killed Wes in "How To Get Away With Murder" will not be revealed without twists and turns. All characters have motives of killing Wes. But who has the most to gain with Wes' death? Here are the theories of who might have killed Wes.

Michaela, Asher, and Oliver have alibis on the night of the murder. Asher blacked out midway through a dorm rager, Michaela was with her mother Trishelle, and Oliver Googling "Murder Night 2014." They looked really surprised when they learned from Bonnie that Wes was dead. Laurel could not possibly have killed Wes, the presumed baby daddy of the child she is carrying. Unless they had a quarrel and accidentally killed Wes, a "How To Get Away With Murder" signature twist, but very unlikely at this point.

While Annalise has the motive to kill Wes, "How To Get Away With Murder" will never let out easily. Besides, she looked genuinely devastated when she heard the news. But that could easily be killer's remorse as she was very close with Wes. Connor already threatened to kill Wes if he ever reveals his name to the cops. Connor could easily be Wes' killer as the timeline after hooking up with Thomas hasn't been revealed yet.

Atwood could have killed Wes to torment Annalise. After learning that Wes backed out of helping the police investigate Annalise, he could have killed Wes in a fit. Clearly, Bonnie wanted to help Annalise when she asked Frank to be Annalise's fall guy for Rebecca's murder. Taking matters into her own hands, she could've killed Wes to cover up the murder. Following the buzz of Frank being the man under the sheet, being Annalise's go-to guy for dirty deeds, he could've killed Wes in "How To Get Away With Murder" to clean up Rebecca's murder. Nate, being the person last seen in Annalise's house, could be the killer. He could also be the only witness of Wes' murder.

When "How To Get Away With Murder" returns in 2017, Annalise will be hitting rock bottom as her investigation deepens, she starts coping in prison and will be wearing a "mask" moving forward. Pete Nowalk also reveals that Annalise will have cell mates in prison and she will definitely have a hard time getting out of prison as she is expected to be in jail for "longer" than viewers may think.
