Drugs can worsen The problem

Reports on Science Daly suggest that happy pills like SSRIs may have strong physical side effects. In case a patient wishes to decrease the intake of medicines he comes across issues like shivering, dizziness and flushing. Hence the social situation tends to return. Patient instead of cognitive therapy pay more attention towards medicines and they become dependent on pills. The research has proved that while learning effective techniques patients can improve their anxiety themselves.

Doctors often combine pills and talk therapy which is good for patients suffering from depression. It has opposite effect on patients suffering from social anxiety disorders.
