Kingdom Hearts 3 just might get a few characters from Star Wars and Marvel when it sees release next year.
According to a report by Video Games Republic, Square Enix has been hinting out that a few characters from the Star Wars Universe like Obiwan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker might drop in on Kingdom Hearts 3. The same thing applies to Marvel. Disney currently owns the rights to several Marvel franchises and Marvel Studios now stands as a subsidiary of Walt Disney Studios. Rumor has it that characters from Marvel like Spider-man, Iron Man and the others might be a part of the upcoming KH3 to help fans from Marvel get into the Kingdom Hearts franchise and attract more sales.
Meanwhile, on other Kingdom Hearts 3 news, Square Enix has announced its lineup for Jump Festa 2017 and it looks like Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+ 2.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue will be taking center stage along with a slew of Dragon Quest games.
For those who aren't so familiar with Jump Festa, the event is a platform for videogame developing companies to look for partnerships, boost their sales and do a few bits of promotions. Jumpfest Festa 2017 is scheduled to run this weekend, Dec. 17 to 18.
Though there isn't any confirmation whether the videogame developer is going to feature Kingdom Hearts 3 in the event, gamers can still hope that Square Enix is planning a few surprises for everyone.
