International eSports organization Team Dignitas welcomes 2 new star players to their North American League Championship Series lineup for 2017. However, Riot, developer of League of Legends, will still need to approve this.

Kim "Ssumday" Chan-ho from South Korea tweeted his exit from KT Rolster a few weeks ago and is now secured as the new Team Dignitas Top Laner for League of Legends League of Championship. Ssumday was the 2015 LCK Summer Split MVP, 2015 LCK Summer Split KDA Leader, and ranked as one of the world's top ten League of Legends players by ESPN in August 2016. "I believe the Dignitas NBA ownership structure will provide the best conditions for me to focus on gaming, training and development. I am confident that, together with my Team Dignitas teammates and coaches, we will grow to become competitive on the world stage."

Another South Korean gaming super star is also recruited into the mix for LoL. Lee "Chaser" Sang-hyun, from Longzhu Gaming is tasked to man the Jungle. Known for his aggressive playing, Chaser had an impressive 11.7 KDA on Sejuani and a 6.6 KDA on Nidalee during the 2015 LCK Summer Split.

I believe my aggressive Jungling stylewill fit the 2017 meta well, and contribute to our success," said Lee "Chaser" Sang-hyun. "I am excited to live in Los Angeles, make new friends, and make my mark in the NA LCS."

A pre-season bootcamp prior to the NA LCS Spring Split matches on Jan. 21, 2017 will be waiting for the two South Korean recuits and the three remaining players. League of Legends Team Dignitas will set up a support staff to ensure the transition will run smoothly and bridge the language barrier.
