‘Gotham’ Season 3 Spoilers: Cameron Monaghan In Full Joker Mode! Barbara Transforming Into Harley Quinn, Partnering With Nygma?
"Gotham" fans will see more of Cameron Monaghan's Joker when Season 3 returns. The iconic Batman villain was first introduced in the second season but was abruptly killed off after a few episodes. That, however, is about to change now that Jerome Valeska is alive and ready to transform into full Joker mode in upcoming "Gotham" episodes.
Monaghan tweeted a photo of Jerome in full-on Joker mode last week but quickly deleted the post. Fortunately, folks over at The League of Geekz got a screenshot of the actor's picture and reposted it. You can see Monaghan in Joker's trademark garish makeup while wearing a purple vest or dress shirt.

"Gotham" executive producer Ken Woodruff recently told TV Guide that Joker will be revealed in the second half of Season 3. The Fox series will "delve back into the mythology of the Joker, and characters that may or may not be the Joker -- but more likely characters that are an amalgamation of what we'll come to know as the Joker," Woodruff shared.
Other villains on "Gotham" will not welcome Joker into the fold, specifically Oswald Cobblepot a.k.a. Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor). Taylor told Yahoo! TV that Penguin and Joker are the opposing sides of a coin, with the former wanting "an order to everything" and Joker representing "anarchy."
According to Taylor, Penguin is "not interested in tearing things down," which is why he and the police are able to understand each other sometimes. The actor believes that his character's madness has "something identifiable" to it.
The second half of "Gotham" Season 3 will also showcase Barbara Kean's (Eric Richards) possible team-up with Edward Nygma a.k.a. the Riddler (Cory Michael Smith). Earlier this month, the official Twitter page for "Gotham" posted a video where Barbara tries to convince Nygma to join her villainous antics.
Barbara was Jim Gordon's (Ben McKenzie) fiancée before she fully embraced her manipulative psychopath nature. Now, she wants to be one of Gotham's strongest antagonists and there are even speculations that she would transform into Harley Quinn eventually.
It's still unsure whether or not a Barbara and Nygma partnership is on the cards on "Gotham," but one thing's for sure -- the latter will transform into the Riddler soon. A separate post on the "Gotham" Twitter page showed Nygma announcing that he wants to "destroy him."
