"Outlander" Season 3 spoilers reveal that there will be a couple of changes made in translating Diana Gabaldon's third book titled "Voyager" into the small screens. How much of a change will be done to the Starz drama, however, has yet to be made known in the upcoming season.
As Inverse notes in its report, one scene from Gabaldon's book is causing controversy among fans and viewers and whether or not this will be depicted in "Outlander" Season 3. According to the publication, there is a scene in "Voyager" wherein Jamie (Sam Heughan) seemingly forces himself unto Geneva.
There have been divided opinions about this scene wherein some believe that Jamie "raped" Geneva since the latter asked Jamie to stop. Gabaldon, however, explained that this was not considered "rape" because of the instances surrounding the scene.
This intimate scene between Jamie and Geneva is expected to be featured in "Outlander" Season 3. However, there is a possibility that the Starz drama will tone the scene down to reduce criticisms from viewers.
Geneva is one of the many new characters that will be introduced in "Outlander" Season 3. As TVGuide reports, the show will also be introducing a grown up Fergus, Marsali (Laoghaire's daughter), and Ian (Jamie's nephew).
Fans and viewers will also see more of Frank (Tobias Menzies) and Claire's (Caitriona Balfe) marriage in "Outlander" Season 3. This is a major change from the books since there was little information about their married life in Gabaldon's books.
