Gru Is Back, And The New Charming Nemesis Balthazar Bratt Rocks 'Despicable Me 3' With 80s Hits!
The Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment released the first trailer for Despicable Me 3. The last of minions has caused a bit confusion to the viewers. The sneak peak teaser introduces the new 1980s obsessed villain, Balthazar Bratt.
Despicable Me 3 is an upcoming 2017 comedy film produced by Illumination Entertainment. It is scheduled for release this summer by Universal Pictures. The 3D computer-animated film is written by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio and being directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, together with co-director Eric Guillon.
The teaser focuses on Gru and his other half Lucy as they try to stop Balthazar Bratt from stealing the precious pink diamond. Balthazar's mission is a part of the Anti-Villain League. The new nemesis is obsessed with the 80s, as the trailer showed that the new villain dresses like Michael Jackson and a cross of Prince. He has a charming mullet and mustache. The pink bubble gum and a Rubik's Cube are his weapons. While on the mission, Lucy offers Gru a unique nickname for their tandem.
Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig are back as the couple Gru and Lucky. The new charming opponent is Trey Parker as Balthazar Bratt. Gru's lovely adopted children, Agnes, Margo, and Edith are back. Miranda Cosgrove as Margo, Dana Gaier as Edith, and New Scharrel as the sweetest Agnes.
On the last part of the teaser, the minions' appearance is quite confusing. There are only two who appeared as Dick Jockeys, instead of a huge horde. These two minions are playing the 80s hit of Michael Jackson, "Bad". Since the first and second Despicable Me, there are thousands of minions teasing and annoyingly laughing around.
The official trailer plays the Xzibit's 2011 track, "What It Is" featuring Young De. There is a pretty funny use of "Happy Birthday" song as Gru floats inside the pink bubble gum. The teaser also features Micheal Jackson's original tracks. Despicable Me 3 trailer was released on December 14, and the film will rock theaters on June 30, 2017.
