'Pitch Perfect 3' News & Updates: 'Orange Is The New Black' Star Ruby Rose To Star In The Film!

Ruby Rose, the star of the show “Orange Is The New Black” is negotiating to join the “Pitch Perfect” franchise in the next Universal and Gold Circle installment. Trish Sie will replace Elizabeth Banks who directed “Pitch Perfect 2” while the rest of the team remains the same.

As Variety reported, Kay Cannon wrote the screenplay with additional drafts from Mike White and Dana Fox but the details of Rose’s character are not revealed yet. Jason Moore who directed the original film helped to launch the franchise which cost $15 million to produce. Ruby Rose will have a busy year starting with “XXX: Return Of Xander Cage” to “Resident Evil: Final Chapter” and “John Wick 2.”

If Ruby Rose’s deal will be finalized, she will be the first addition to the cast, Movie Web reports. Despite her busy year, she is still negotiating for a role in the upcoming “Pitch Perfect 3.” When Hailee Steinfeld signed her deal for “Pitch Perfect 2”, she signed a multi-movie deal which means fans could see her also in the upcoming “Pitch Perfect 3”. Back in May, Universal pushed the release date from July 21, 2017, to December 22, 2017, which means fans will have to wait a little longer to see their favorite character back in action.

Daily Mail reported the gorgeous actress Ruby Rose is about to become a big screen singer. Ruby will join the third installment and which will hit the cinemas at the end of the next year. It will be a super-busy year for the famous actress, but despite that she negotiated for a role and will make a very successful year for herself. In October, the star posted a snap of her and the producer of “Pitch Perfect” smiling. Shortly after the snap fans started questioning whether she will appear in the movie franchise as well.
