The series "Criminal Minds", one of the few investigative show that runs until Season 12 have unfortunately after a long time of running, the rating of this current season is down. It is no secret for everyone that this might be because o Thomas Gibson's absence on the show, a permanent one, as he was fired.
"Criminal Minds" have Aaron Hotchner or simply 'Hotch' as one of the leads which were portrayed by Thomas Gibson, for 10 years people have loved him but when the producer fired him, a lot of fans hated it and even threatened to boycott the show with a hashtag #HotchIsOurHero.
The fan base for 'Hotch's' character left a big gap in the ratings. Also, aside from Thomas Gibson, actor Shemar Moore who played the role Derek Morgan also left the show last March which is a personal decision for the family time.
Speaking of "Criminal Minds" Shemar Moore, rumors about his sexuality have risen. Gay rumors have been hovering around him and he refuted those on social media. He stated that he knows his sexuality and if you're gay, you are and if you are not, you are not and he knows he loves women.
"Criminal Minds" have it hard as the viewers of the show have dropped so hard. Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore in the show may have been the reason when they are still there, there are 14 million viewers and this season is down to around 8 million.
"Criminal Minds" must do something about this, when the drop continues, the show might be canceled but bringing Hotch back might change the show's destiny. The winter premiere date will air this January 4, 2017, at CBS 9 p.m.
