‘Fate/Extella' Video Game Hits North America And Europe In 2017; New Trailer Revealed
The latest video game from Marvelous and XSEED will finally be made available in North America and Europe soon. It has been announced just recently that “Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star” will be heading its way outside Japan next year. Along with the announcement, three new trailers have been revealed to heighten the hype.
XSEED Games has just announced that the said video game will head to the United States and Canada on Jan. 17. XSEED Games is the video game’s publisher for North America. While according to Marvelous, the main publisher, the game will be made available to Europe starting Jan. 20.
“Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star” will only be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and has already launched in Japan on Nov. 10. It is a single-player action video game wherein the player takes in the usual role of the master and teams up with servants to fight formidable enemies that also include other servants. In this game, there are 16 playable servants to choose from and it has been divided into eight classes that has various different fighting styles, namely Saber, Archer, Lancer, Caster, Assassin, Rider, Berserker, and Extra Class.
The latest trailers released for “Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star” featured highlights of the servants Archimedes and Artoria Pendragon who are from the Caster and Saber classes, respectively. The character highlights previewed the skills of the said playable characters, which pack a lot of new skills. The other trailer featured the entire gameplay highlighting the story as well as introducing the legendary hero servants.
XSEED and Marvelous has also announced that a pre-order bonus will be available for the PlayStation 4 digital copy. The bonus content, “Shackled Bride” is a new outfit for Nero. Meanwhile, a PlayStation Vita bundle for “Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star” has been offered that includes a new outfit for Gilgamesh called “Cold-Blooded Warden”. The said game will be sold in three versions, which includes the Standard Edition for $49.99, the limited “Noble Phantasm” Edition at $69.99, and the standard digital copy. These prices are given for the PlayStation 4, while the prices for PlayStation Vita are all $10 lesser for each edition.
