Golden State Warriors News: Stephen Curry Asks And Receives A High Five From Opposing Coach After Nailing A Difficult And Crazy Shot!
Stephen Curry has the spotlight again after a controversial high five with the coach of the opposing team. Golden State Warriors faced New Orleans Pelicans in another game and the two-time NBA MVP made a difficult shot successful earning him a high-five from Pelican's assistant coach.
Isn't it odd? Yes, it's awkward to see a player and a coach from opposing teams do high five in the middle of the game. However, it is not impossible and that is what Stephen Curry and Darren Erman showed to the spectators during Warrior's last game with the Pelicans.
Yahoo! Sports reported that Stephen Curry received a pass from Draymond Green. Curry has four seconds to shot the ball in front of Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday draping all over him but Klay Thompson's Splash Brother was just on time to give himself enough space to shot the ball. He spins off the catch to the 3-point arc and shot the ball.
It so happened that Stephen Curry is on the sideline and in front of the Pelican bench. Upon landing he finds himself next to Pelicans associate head coach Darren Erman, the NBA superstar extended his hand for a high five and Erman gave him a hand.

Well, it's not surprising for the Warriors fans as Erman used to work for the team under Mark Jackson. Per the report, he was fired for secretly recording conversations between coaches and players. Deseret News Sports reported that Erman received criticism for openly praising Curry. Of course, he was working now for the opposing team.
Meanwhile, Stephen Curry explained his surprising act. "Obviously I know him very well," Curry said per CBS Sports. The GSW point guard explained that he knows what Erman is thinking and that is, making it will be a good shot if Holiday can't stop him. Indeed, he made it. "I wanted a little praise for that good shot and he gave it to me. He was a good sport," Curry added.
