Social media sites have recently been stormed by complaints from "Dota 2" players because of the game's recent 7.00 Update. They say, the changes are too much to handle that they might transfer to another game.

There is no major change found in Dota 2 since year 2005, making gamers feel at ease as they now know the ins and outs of the maps and the whole gameplay. Although the core structure remains the same, developers of the game has tweaked a lot on the real-time strategy mod roots, map design, new "shrine" building, and new skill-tree format. This makes Dota 2 7.00 update the most challenging one to date. Because of these elements, "Dota 2" has become very "unfriendly" to some. Others, though, welcome the challenge.

The update also introduced a new hero under the name "Monkey King". But gamers are already knowledgeable about the character since August this year. Because of the major changes and the new hero, some gamers say that the game already looked like another version of "Dota". Most gamers like to note that Developer Valve is not allowed to use the number 3, thus, they settled with making "Dota 2" 7.00 update a real, big deal.

Over 10 years, Dota stuck to naming versions and updates with the number 6. It was only this weekend that the game has finally settled with a significant and unforgettable one: 7. However, they all saw it coming when the versions have started to drift towards the end, especially when the developers have already released "Dota 2" 6.89.

Aside from the naming history, gamers did not really expect that the most influential mod will be overhauled which made waves into the games' vital systems, maps, and interface. While for some this is something that makes their hands and head hot, to avid fans this is a challenging new "Dota 2" world to conquer.
