US President Barack Obama is not going to vanish into thin air after Donald Trump assumes as the 45th leader of USA on January 20, 2017. This was his statement during his guesting in The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. Obama said that he will do something if Trump pushes his platform of establishing a Muslim registry.

Obama told Noah that he does not expect that he will be mum if Trump's administration tries to step over on the core values of this country. According to him, one of the core values of US is to accept everyone and provide equality for all.

Giving a remark on Trump's proposal of banning Muslims and establishing a Muslim registry, saying that it is a violation to the US Constitution and to all the Americans. He added that it would be a way for the terrorists to be stronger.

Since the establishment of Islamophobia would be present under Trump administration, extremist groups like the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, more known as ISIS, would have easier avenue of recruiting and radicalizing homegrown terrorists, he said.

Obama also discussed Russia's influence in the 2016 elections that lead to the upset win of Trump against Hillary Clinton. He said that the involvement of Russian hackers was not a big surprise for him.

He said that the real question should be how did the fairly routine hacked emails receive more attention that any policies proposed by Clinton. A report by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) said that the Russian hacking was a huge help for Trump's candidacy.

Trump responded by saying CIA's report is beyond ridiculous. However, Obama recalled that Trump invited Russian hackers to target Clinton in order to confirm his conspiracy theories.

This is Obama's first interview with The Daily Show since the departure of Jon Stewart. The interview in the White House would probably his final interview while he is still in the office.
