Many fans may agree that "Assassin's Creed Empire" has too much hype to its name despite the vagueness of the game's release date. Disappointing news has come around that the game will not be out by 2016, and developers might even skip a 2017 release as well.

Fans of "Assassin's Creed Empire" are excited for the new adventure that was expected to be released in time for the 2016 holidays. The game would be set in Ancient Egpyt despite fan's preferring a modern setting as compared to "Assassin's Creed Syndicate." However, the 2016 release date has been pushed back as the developers announced that they would not be able to launch the game this year.

According to PC Advisor, the development team over at UbiSoft announced in February that a 2016 release is unlikely, and that is what fans are dealing with now. As per the same report, the developers are working on revamping the gameplay and fans are in for an in-game evolution. The delay is apparently because the team would like to ensure that the "Assassin's Creed Empire" would be delivered with a unique and memorable gameplay experience.

As for the revamped gameplay, Digital Spy reports that "Assassin's Creed Empire" will be set in Ancient Egypt, where the player can infiltrate large temples and pyramids. The same report also boasts a screenshot of what may be a leaked "Assassin's Creed Empire" glimpse. The protagonist of the game is someone who used to be a slave and has issues speaking. With that being said, developers have expressed that the game would be inspired by "The Witcher," fans might have the option for dialogue selection for the quiet assassin.

Despite the 2016 release date being delayed, fans of "Assassin's Creed Empire" can still look forward to the game's new release in 2017. Stay tuned to News Everyday for more updates.
