'Pokemon GO' Gets Seven New Gen. 2 Pokemon Baby From Silver And Gold, Also include Limted Edition Pikachu
'Pokemon GO' is a free to play, location-based augmented reality game developed by Niantic for Andriod, iOS and Apple Watch devices. Developer Niantic has recently announced that a slate of new Pokemon's is now available in the game, including Togepi, Pichu and other Pokemon's from the second generation Pokemon Gold and Silver.
The developer declared on Monday that a handful of new Pokemon's, including Pichu and Togepi, can now be hatched from eggs in the Pokemon Go. Niantic also introduced a holiday special for the players. From now until December 29, 2016, first festive Pikachu adorned in Christmas hat, will be found in wild.
The report comes as Niantic has Announced a Series of other announcement intended to attract players back to Pokemon Go, containing limited-time in-game event, turning Sprint Stores into PokeStops and Pokemon themed Starbucks drinks. Niantic says that player can only capture them by acquiring and hatching eggs from PokeStop. Pokemon Go players will have to do some work to catch 'em all.
Magby, Elekid, Cleffa, Jigglypuff, Pichu, Smoochum and Tyrogue are the seven new Gen 2 baby Pokemon you can catch in Pokemon Go. Perhaps there are still more Gen 2 Pokemon to be unearthed, but these seven baby Pokemon are only ones confirmed so far. Niantic's partnership with US carrier Sprint turns 10,500 of the company's stores into Gyms and PokeStop within the Pokemon Go world. The news was revealed by the firm a week before, that new Pokemon is coming in the game Pokemon Go by the end of this year.
Pokemon Go was launched in selected countries in July 2016 and was the result of a collaboration between Niantic and the Pokemon Company. In the game, players have to use their mobile devices GPS capability to capture, locate, battle and train their Pokemon. The game supports in-app purchase for additional in-game purchase.
