It was previously announced earlier this year that "Aquaman" will be facing multiple villains and of those villains is Black Manta. "Watchmen" actor Patrick Wilson joins the villain block as he has been tapped to play Orm, better known in the comics as Ocean Master.

Wilson will play Aquaman's half brother in the superhero movie, as reported by Deadline. The same source also reported that the duo will likely have a Thor-Loki relationship in the Thor movies. Sibling rivalry will still be present between Arthur and Orm in "Aquaman. Wilson has also been featured previously in a superhero movie, in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". He played the role of the President of the United States.

Based on the comics, Orm was introduced in 1966's Aquaman #29: His background story, as provided by Cinema Blend, is about him sharing the same mother with Aquaman. Orm is however a full Atlantean while Arthur Curry grew up on the land with his human father. Aquaman's existence to the kingdom of Atlantean was kept as a secret thus Orm eventually inherited the Atlantean throne.

However, when Aquaman discovered and came to Atlantis as an adult, the royal title was passed to him since he was Queen Atlanna's firstborn. Consequentially, it caused extremely jealousy to Orm and as Ocean Master, Orm used his abilities and special trident to challenge his brother repeatedly, all because he believes he knows what's best for Atlantis.

Patrick Wilson was known for his role as Dan Dreiberg, a.k.a. the second Nite Owl, in 2009's Watchmen. However, he gained popularity through the two "The Conjuring" movies, "The Phantom of the Opera," The "A-Teammovie," "Prometheus," "The Founder" and the "Fargo" TV series. In case you did not know, Wilson was also supposed have obtained a role into the Marvel's "Ant-Man," but later had declined due to scheduling conflicts, according to Coming Soon.

Meanwhile, the cast of "Aquaman" also includes Jason Momoa as the main hero, Amber Heard as Mera and Willem Dafoe as Vulko.

Aquaman will premiere into theaters on October 5, 2018.
