US-China Relation: Beijing Is Taking A Stand On The US President Donald Trump’s Opinion; What's Next For The 'One China Policy'?

US-China relation foremost existed with the "One China Policy" that established its existence since the 1970s'. If US President Donald Trump continue to insist on his way of diplomacy, everything will be out of the question.

China made a clear stand that they view the actions of the incoming US President as a silent attack to its own bilateral relationship. Foreign Ministry of China Spokesperson Geng Shuang said, "Adhering to the one China Policy is the political bedrock for the development US-China relations. If it is comprised or disrupted, the sound and steady growth of the bilateral relationship, as well as bilateral cooperation in major fields would be out of the question."

Although in the Fox News interview with the incoming US President, he is eager to anger Beijing until his terms in trade and North Korea - submitted by China. Both China and Donald Trump are not getting along even if the days of the administration have not started that could further strain the US-China Relation.

How Did US President Donald Trump Anger China?

Set aside the intention of leaving the "One China Policy" and bruising the US-China Relation, there are other areas where Donald Trump angered China and it can get worst when he is the US President. He made the controversial phone call with President Tsai Ing-wen last December 2.

He also bombarded China on his Tweeter account accusing the Chinese government of manipulating its currency and charging high taxes on American imports. He also said that China should not dictate him in any way. "It was a very nice call. Short. And why should some other nation be able to say I can't take a call?"

The Climate Change deal also became a brink of more tension in the US-China Relation when US President Donald Trump called it a Chinese Hoax. There are more that Trump can do and it will keep going.

China is confronted by the territorial dispute with its neighboring countries in Asia. Now that US President Donald Trump is staining the US-China Relation, then the "OPne China Policy" is gone.
