Telltale's The Walking Dead Season 3: Meet Clementine's New Companion!
Heads up, fans of Telltale's The Walking Dead! The Walking Dead Season 3, coined as A New Frontier is slated for release on December 20, 2016, with Clementine's new companion!
Telltale's The Walking Dead is popular for its episodic releases and interactivity with the player's choices. The players' choice, when prompted, affects the story's progression and its outcome. After the first two seasons, Telltale Games will finally release the next installment of the series, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. In A New Frontier, Clementine, one of the iconic characters from Season One, returns to the post-apocalyptic world with a new companion named Javier.
According to Executive Producer Kevin Boyle, "Javier's story will intertwine with Clementine's--both of them still driven by the things they value most long after society's collapse." Javier is also coined as a survivor trying to keep his family together in the post-apocalyptic world driven by Walkers. Rumors circulated the web last month that concerns release date for A New Frontier but no one from Telltale Games confirmed it.
Telltale Games released a brand new trailer, showing off the events of A New Frontier. The trailer shows off Clementine and Javier, who joined a small group who call themselves The New Frontier. They are also joined by a lot of new characters that help them battle their way through the horde of Walkers.
Announced in The Games Award 2016, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is a five-episode season and will release the first two episodes on their release date. Titled "Ties That Band Part 1 and Part 2," this is where Clementine will be re-introduced to fans and Javier to makes his debut to the franchise.
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is scheduled for release on December 20. A retail release is slated on February 7, 2017, where players can buy the full episodes of the season.
