Wiz Khalifa 'Raw' Video Released: Could Trigger Seizures in Epileptics
Wiz Khalifa's latest video for his Blacc Hollywood track "Raw" is literally one of the hardest things to watch.
The video starts off with many people dancing while Khalifa, dressed in a t-shirt and camo sweatpants, blows out smoke. The scene is quickly amplified with a ton of flashing light. According to the video warning, the use of negative black-and-white photography paired with flicker film techniques can "potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy."
One YouTube commentator wrote, "How can anyone actually watch this? its literally impossible."
Another user commented, "Great song but this video is annoying."
The video was directed by Gerard Victor.
"Raw" is Khalifa's sixth music video from his latest album, which is his fifth studio one overall.
"I wouldn't say I approached it much differently, but I definitely had a different approach," Khalifa told Karen Civil in regards to creating Blacc Hollywood. "I wanted to make really big standout records and something that was a complete structural body of work. I didn't want it to be too long or have a situation where you had to come from too weird of a place to understand it."
Blacc Hollywood has earned Khalifa a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album.
