'American Horror Story' Season 7 Spoilers: 'AHS' Exciting Theme Theories About Ships & Monsters
"American Horror Story" Season 7 teasers reveal a different storyline from other seasons. While there is no official synopsis for the upcoming season 7 yet, there are plenty of teasers revealed in the show's Twitter account giving hints with an aquatic theme in Season 7.
Following the "American Horror Story" Season 6 finale, teasers were released including a video clip that showed possibly underwater corpses or a sunken ship. There are a lot of speculations about what's in store for "AHS" Season 7. This includes a scary sea monster. Howard Phillips Lovecraft who has written novels about sea monsters like Cthulhu that, according to the author, sleeps underwater. The upcoming season could also feature monsters that can interact with humans in dreams.
During the season finale, a preview of a ghost ship was shown. Many fans speculated that the scene could be related to "American Horror Story" Season 7, adding to the theory that the season will be about the S.S. Ourang Medan. A ship cruising the Strait of Malacca got a radio message from a certain Dutch S.S. Ourang freighter. The transcript read that officers and captain are all dead, all crew are possibly dead, and the transcript ended with "I die."
While the ship was Dutch, not American, the ships that received the radio signals were USA's Silver Star. When rescue boats arrived on the scene, there were no signs of life and the rescuers saw a horrific site. The ship was muddled with corpses that were on their backs, faces frozen with mouths and eyes wide open, including even the dogs.
On the flip side, fans know all too well that a creative showrunner such as Ryan Murphy would not settle with a simple story. If anything, "American Horror Story" Season 7 could hold the ship and sea monster stories bundled together. But what's for sure is that "American Horror Story" will take viewers for another ride in a hair-raising adventure.
