Prepare your gaming rigs because "Dota 2" Patch 7.00 is coming in a few hours and it is going to be big. The new patch brings players a new hero, new HUD, and new game changing features, including the Talent Tree and Aghanim's Scepter Ability reworks.

"Dota 2" patch 7.00 brings players a new hero to the battlefield, Wukong, the Monkey King just as he was teased in August. There were even a few easter eggs in-game, such as a silly banana lying around in "Dota 2" patch 6.87.

According to the VG 24/7, players get to enjoy the new hero Monkey King along with other in-game goodies and game changing mechanics were also added. The most notable of which is the replacement of " Bonus Attributes" with the new "Talent Tree" which differs from hero to hero. For instance, Crystal Maiden can unlock "Talent Tree" tiers on levels 10/15/20/25, attributes varying from additional gold per minute, to a whopping +200 damage on her Crystal Nova skill.

Moreover, players can also enjoy a new HUD in "Dota 2" patch 7.00, a complete redesign that allows players an increase in map awareness as well as better control over the hero and sub-units as per Polygon . It is worth mentioning that Roshan moved pits on the map as well, the Aegis and cheese carrying fellow can now be found on the top river, no longer making it more accessible to the Dire side.

Hero balancing was also done in "Dota 2" patch 7.00 and the most notable of which are the changes in Aghanims Scepter abilities. Some heroes have yet to gain a special cookie when equipped with an AGS, now the Anti-Mage, Bounty Hunter, Chaos Knight, Phantom Lancer, Riki, Slark, and Sniper can use AGS to carry the game. It is quite frightening now that more carry heroes are getting to utilize AGS for more late game utility and damage.

The Anti-Mage equipped with AGS will have his Spell Shield passively block and reflect targeted spells every 12 seconds, which is basically a built in Lotus Orb and Linken's Sphere. Bounty Hunter, on the other hand, has his Shuriken Toss ability act like Luna's Moon Glaive passive, but bounces on all enemies twice instead.

Moreover, after "Dota 2" patch 7.00 an AGS on Chaos Knight means reduced cooldowns and Phantoms can now be cast on allies. While Phantom Lancer gets a buffed Spirit Lane ability that will bounce on nearby enemies up to five times. Riki with an AGS turns his Ultimate Ability similar to Lifestealer's Infest skill, allowing Riki to chose a target within his Ult and hide inside them while the Ult lasts, which now lasts four seconds more.

In "Dota 2" patch 7.00 Slark can also use AGS to reduce his Ultimate's cooldown and allow allies to hide underneath that annoying cloud immune to sentries for a limited time. A tide turning skill during clashes, just like Sniper on AGS. Sniper's Assassinate skill will now hit enemies in an aria with a 2.8 critical strike chance when equipped with AGS.

The above heroes got new ability revamps with Aghanmcs scepter thanks to the "Dota 2" patch 7.00, while heroes such as Zeus, Skywrath Mage, and Crystal Maiden got Scepter reworks. Zeus with an AGS equipped will unlock a new skill, Nimbus which is a storm cloud that chases enemies with lightning bolts every few seconds. Crystal Maiden's AGS revamp is one of the best so far, which automatically casts Frost Bite on enemies who stand for 2.5 seconds on her Freezing Field, limiting movement during clashes.

"Dota 2" Patch 7.00 brings a whole new load of game-changing reworks and additions, will it be good in the long run, or turn out as a terrible update altogether? Stay tuned to News Everyday for more updates on your favorite games.
