The 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards: Ryan Reynolds Dedicated His Award to People Fighting Cancer
It's the time of the year where the stars bright shining in the 22nd Annual Critic's Choice Award. Ryan Reynolds made the evening better with his surprising dedication for his award.
Winning the Entertainer of the Year Award, he sees fit that the award is dedicated to people fighting cancer. For the last 11 years, Reynold longed for the movie "Deadpool" to hit the big screen and it happened, but not getting him awards such as with the 22nd Annual Critics' Choice Award.
"The character had cancer and some of the people who this character resonated with was sick kids. So I would like to dedicate this honor to the Make-a-Wish Foundation and the SickKids Foundation of Toronto," Reynold said. He continued two incredible organizations that do so much for so many kids in need. "They started a fight and we can finish it."
Meanwhile, T.J. Miller continued as host of the show after the citizen's arrest when he slapped his driver on the head. The 22nd Annual Critics' Choice Award did not remove him as host and eventually continued with his gig on the event.
Miller also made remarks about the US Presidential Election concluded last month. He said that the United States is not a divided nation, it is broken, and any broken things can be fixed. Miller believes that "TV and Films can bring America Together."
The 22nd Annual Critic's Choice Award made many stars happy. Bagging several awards are the "Manchester by Sea" star Casey Affleck bagged the Best Actor Award while his counterpart from the Movie "Jackie" Natalie Portman went home as Best Actress.
"Game of Thrones" also got from the 22nd annual Critics' Choice Award as the Best Drama Series. Meanwhile "Deadpool" got the Best Comedy Award making Ryan Reynolds happier. Next year will be a much awaited year for the stars with all new projects in line, they sure will prepare for it.
