Hatchimals Stock Update: Retailers Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, Target Stock Up Before Christmas; Hatchimals Creator Reveals New Batch Coming
More Hatchimals are coming to retail stores before Christmas. Many people are going on a frenzy looking for Hatchimals. But with the limited stock availability, some parents are forced to purchase insanely marked up prices of the Furby-like toy. The good news is that there will be more stocks coming to retailer stores, but with a caveat - some retailers set limits per person, and the stock could be sold out very quickly.
Toys R Us will be receiving more shipments of Hatchimals through Christmas. CNBC reports that since it has several toy vendors, the store usually gets a fair amount of allocations of toy inventories. Toys R Us is selling Hatchimals for $59.99 each limiting shoppers with only one unit per person.
Wal-Mart will also be restocking on the Hatchimals through Christmas on all 1,700 stores nationwide. All of the stores will be receiving Hatchimals inventories selling for $48.88 each, with no limit per person.
Target will be restocking on the toy for $59.99 each, initially setting the limit at 2 per shopper and decreased the limit to 1 per shopper. Many shoppers who lined up at Target stores got disappointed as the Hatchimals sold out quickly, leaving most shoppers empty handed. But Target assures shoppers that there will be more stocks coming soon just in time before Christmas.
Speaking with CNBC, Nancy Swiers, the creator of Hatchimals said that they have already increased the production of Furby-like toys and there will be a new batch of Hatchimals in early 2017. So, kids might need to wait after the year ends before getting their hands on the part-Tamagotchi toy. In the meantime, this website could help check Hatchimals availability at various retailers.
