'The Walking Dead' Mid-Season Finale - Must Watch Fans & Cast Reactions During the Explosive Episode
After weeks and weeks of endless character development episodes, 'The Walking Dead' is back on track with its action-filled thrillers. AMC's hit show has once again made the internet explode.
"The Walking Dead" Season 7 Episode 8 truly was one of the best episodes of the season thus far. The episode titled "Hearts Still Beating" gave fans the exciting episode they have been craving for since Glenn and Abraham's death on season 7 episode 1.
The episode was not only filled with unexpected deaths and comedic relief, it was also filled with feel-good moments for the fans. Apparently, these heart-warming scenes were also some of the casts' favorite.
From Negan cracking twisted jokes in the beginning, Rick and Aaron getting home safe, Michonne getting her groove back, Daryl escaping and more. Fans even got the chance to see Maggie slowly taking over the Hilltop.

Not to mention that great scene between Father Gabriel and Rosita that truly did tug at everyone's heart with Glenn and Abraham being mentioned once again. Spencer's death was pretty much expected by most of the fans who have read the comics.

Olivia's death, on the other hand, was something else. It was quick, shocking and it just goes to show how Negan's people follow his every order. If Negan tells these Saviors to eat mud and enjoy it, they most certainly will.
RIP OLIVIA
Aaron taking a beating from the Saviors showed just how much of a badass he can be. Rosita taking a shot at Negan - then accidentally hitting Lucille - despite Father Gabriel’s disapproval was awesome and terrifying at the same time.
Father Gabriel and Eugene squirming and practically heading to “Pee Pee Pants City” in the background made fans feel the intensity of the situation from the other side of the TV screen. Tara bravely offering herself, shouting “It was me!” instead of throwing Eugene under the bus speaks a lot about her character.
Eugene finally manning up and taking the fall shows fans that he can be a reliable character when needed. And finally, that ending scene where the family was officially reunited back at the Hilltop was something fans desperately needed to see.
That ending might not be a cliffhanger to keep fans on their toes until The Walking Dead resumes on February, but it surely will keep their hopes alive. Much can be said the same for Rick and his core group of survivors.
There is hope. There will be war. There will be casualties, but Rick and co. will survive.
