Pokemon Sun and Moon News, Update: Discover Ash, Game Freak Office, And Nugget Bridge Easter Eggs
Of course Pokemon Sun and Moon has its own Easter Eggs. Videogame developers put their heart and souls into their videogame franchises, and Pokemon has always been one of the most loved handheld gaming series of all time. To remind loyal Pokemon gamers, the Pokemon Company and Nintendo has littered Pokemon Sun and Moon with a lot of references to some of the older Pokemon games and a few interesting pop culture nods.
Some of the most nostalgic Easter Eggs gamers can find in Pokemon Sun and Moon begins at Nugget Bridge. Nugget Bridge is a nod to some of the first few Pokemon games Red, Blue and Yellow where gamers have to defeat five trainers at Kanto Route 24 to get a nugget from Team Rocket Grunt. It's pretty much the same for Pokemon Sun and Moon - at Malie Garden gamers have to fight off five trainers to get a Nugget in the game.
Aside from that, there also a lot of references to Kanto in Pokemon Sun and Moon with the protagonists and antagonists from Red and Blue making cameos in the game. Not only that, but gamers' character originates from Kanto, and later Professor Kakui brings the gamer to see the original Elite Four. Talk about nostalgia.
Gamefreak also put up its own Easter Egg in the new Pokemon games by putting their office in Pokemon Sun and Moon. Gamers can check them out to get a prize after collecting all of the Pokemon in their Pokedex.
The very original protagonist of the Pokemon Games and the star of the Pokemon anime series, Ash Ketchum, has also been spotted in one of the pictures gamers go through to find Mimikyu in Pokemon Sun and Moon. A few gamers however disagree that it was Ash spotted and insist that the Easter Egg is actually a nod to the Alolan form of Red.
