Uncharted 4 News: Survival Update Incoming This Week
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's developer Naughty Dog revealed the existence of its action-and venture games co-op Survival mode with a trailer. It detailed players' ability to be able to take on waves of enemies with their friends online. The developer has just officially announced that the said teaser will become a reality this week.
The news was gathered from their official blog post wherein the company declared that the content update will not only roll out Survival mode on both solo and co-op, new content will also be unloaded for Uncharted 4's competitive online mode. A live stream will be showcased on Dec. 13 at 11:00 AM PT to reveal more Survival content and fresh multiplayer DLC.
Good news continue to flow as the Uncharted 4 Survival update will be a DLC that is for free. Aside from the new mode and online aspects, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End DLC will also include new maps, skins, weapons, boosters, vanity items and a few more characters.
Though fans are very excited about this, they still stretch their necks out for the solo expansion DLC. Naughty Dog has been extremely quiet about this news due to the fact that it still has a long way to go. Rumors say Sam Drake will be the star of the new solo DLC, leaving Nathan Drake in the background.
As of this writing, the said single player expansion for Uncharted 4 launch date still remains a mystery. This has put the gaming community into thinking that Naughty Dog is cooking up a lot since they have announced Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and confirmed a new solo DLC for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End to be coming.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has already been launched exclusive for the PS4, a solo DLC will be coming but no fixed date yet.
