‘Supernatural’ Season 12, Episode 9 Spoilers: President Lucifer Impregnates A Woman! Castiel & Mary’s Rescue Mission [Promo]

The mid-season finale of "Supernatural" Season 12 showcased both highs and lows for Lucifer. Episode eight titled "Lotus" featured the fallen angel leaving his rock star vessel (Rick Springfield) and possessing the body of the country's president (David Chisum). Of course, dealing with it spelled trouble for the Winchester brothers.

In "Lotus," Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) attempted to send Lucifer back to Hell but got arrested by the Secret Service for trying to assassinate the country's most powerful man. But perhaps what shocked "Supernatural" viewers more was Lucifer impregnating a woman, who is a member of the president's staff.

The devil's child definitely doesn't sound good. It should be noted as well that the baby's mother, Kelly, is adamant on carrying the baby to term.

Fans will have to wait for a few weeks to know what happens on "Supernatural" Season 12 next. The promo for episode nine titled "First Blood" showed Dean and Sam locked separately in an unknown maximum security prison. Sam asks a guard about their exact location but the agent told him that they are currently holed up in a place that doesn't officially exist. Where could that be?

Of course, Dean and Sam aren't entirely forgotten by their allies. Castiel (Misha Collins) and Mary (Samantha Smith) are looking for the boys after they went missing for six weeks, two days, and ten hours. Unfortunately, the upcoming episode of "Supernatural" Season 12 will show Castiel and Mary getting caught by the same agents guarding Dean and Sam.

Watch the promo for "First Blood" below. The "Supernatural" episode will air on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 8 PM EST on The CW. The long-running series recently moved to the 8 PM time slot from 9 PM.

The second half of "Supernatural" Season 12 will feature more of the British Men of Letters. Showrunner Robert Singer told Entertainment Weekly that the group's storyline will be "very big" and "quite heavy" in the current season's remaining episodes. The British Men of Letters will be helpful in episode nine but they have larger goals that are still unclear at this point. It's likely that the organization will lend their aid in the spawn of Lucifer situation.

What do you think of episode nine of "Supernatural" Season 12 so far? Any theories about what's going to happen to Lucifer's unborn child? Do you believe that the boys succeeded in sending Lucifer back to his cage? Share your thoughts below!
