iPhone 8 2017 Latest News, Update: Red iPhone Lineup Coming Soon? iPhone 7s, 7s Plus To Ditch Home Button? Specs, Roundup Inside
Apple seems to be gearing up for huge iPhone devices to be unveiled in 2017. Recent reports claimed that iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will get a massive redesign and will have a unique color selection. Additionally, iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus will also be released next year, making a total of four iPhone devices to hit the market in 2017.
Rumors surrounding iPhone 8 specs claimed that the new device will come in a red variant. This marks the first time for Apple to release a new color after the release of iPhone 5c. Apart from the new bold shade, iPhone 8 is also speculated to sport a curved display while its body will be made of an all glass material designed without bezels.
As per a report from BGR, Apple might also implement the latest processor from TSMC on the iPhone 8. A TSMC-produced A11 processor built on 10nm process technology is said to be embedded on the upcoming device. Though this is yet to be confirmed, the speculation may be supported by the news that TSMC is likely to start production of 10nm chips come early 2017.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 7s series which would basically be an updated version of iPhone 7 series will reportedly include upgraded chipsets as well, Forbes reported. The new device is also rumored to come in red variant and will equip an improved camera. Moreover, iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus might also ditch the home button and sport an OLED screen display.
However, the upcoming smartphones may cost higher than the current price points of iPhone devices. Given its high-end specs, Apple could potentially increase its price tag as much as it deserves. That said, iOS users who would like to get their hands on one of the four devices in 2017 are recommended to start saving today.
