Robert Downey Jr. To Star Again As Iron Man In Marvel's 'Avengers: Infinity War'

In 'Captain America: Civil War', we have witnessed how Iron Man located your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland. Now that the first full trailer for 'Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming' has been released, will this mean we will see more of Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man?

Tony Stark, the genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist in his first encounter with the young Peter Parker in 'Captain America: Civil War', gave the viewers a hint that he may be the one who will be creating Spider-Man's famous suit as he uttered the words "You can keep the suit" in the movie.

Director Jon Watts's most awaited new superhero franchise since its Spider-Man series who previously starred Andrew Garfield and the classic Tobey Maguire, is stated to premier on July of next year, reports from Telegraph.

On the other hand, young Peter Parker's mentor, Iron Man, in real life Robert Downey Jr., has confirmed to play again the iconic hero, and the most fitted actor for the role in the next series of Avengers: Infinity War. As he was interviewed in ET with Katie Krause during the 4th Annual Make-a-Wish Wishing Well Gala in Los Angeles, Downey thrillingly said, "So I have yet to be released from my Marvel contract! You heard it here first!"

When asked about how the filming of 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' went and how his experience with Tom Holland, the new guy replacing the original Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey stated, "I'm good friends with Toby, so I can't play favorites here, but that Tom Holland guy is something else."

Downey added that he's "really excited at the way it's being re-imagined" and since the upcoming movie is "a 21st century take" on Spider-Man's well-known story, it is sure a highly anticipated film. Where both movie stars Robert Downey, its debut schedule has already been released with 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' hits theaters July 7, 2017 and Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 on May 4, 2018.
