Bandai Namco Entertainment Introduces Accel World Vs. Sword Art Online by 2017; Discounts And Release Date Announced
Accel World VS Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight is coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. A new trailer has been released by Bandai Namco Entertainment on Wednesday via Dengeki Online's YouTube channel. The action role-enjoying game is said to be released on March 16, 2017.
The video shows one of the recreation's playable characters which symbolizes Sword artwork online characters Asuna, Kirito , Silica, and, Lisbeth and Accel World characters Kuroyukihime/Black Lotus, Silver Crow, Scarlet Rain, and Lime Bell. It was officially announced by the game's official website in October.
Japanese light novel Sword Art Online is a 2009 series written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by ABEC. This series focuses in the near future and various virtual reality MMORPG worlds. Sword Art Online has been awarded various commercial success, with novels having over 19 million copies sold worldwide.
Meanwhile, Accel World is a Japanese light novel series which is also written by Reki Kawahara. The series started printing in ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko from February 2009 and authorized by North America by Yen Press. PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 3 games, each containing an original video episode were launched on September 13, 2012, and January 31, 2013. Accel World by Kawahara is an original story that was reported and was premiered in Japan on July 23, 2016.
The game's official website function the tagline, "Cross through time, and the worlds of acceleration and imagination will clash." Sword Art Online begins in 2022, while Accel World will take place in 2046. Aside from the characters that were revealed so far in the trailer, it will also feature additional 30 other players, and that includes a few that would be hard to have in the main story. For PlayStation 4, it will cost 7,600 yen and 6,800 for PS Vita. Discounts are offered if players will purchase the digital version before April 12, costing only 6,840 yen and 6,120 yen respectively.
The main story is 30 hours long. The game's battles use the "Ground-Sky Active Change Battle" system, which enables players to form a party of three from both Accel World and Sword Art Online characters.
