Critics rounded up the best and worst movies of 2016. Hollywood has no shortage of critics. Whether reviewers agree with them or not, they speak their minds just like so. Here are some of the films with theatrical release that made it to the list of the best and worst movies of 2016.

Metacritic listed 25 movies the critics did not like. Some of the titles that made it to the worst movies of 2016 list include "Alice Through The Looking Glass" rated 34/100, "Ice Age: Collision Course" rated 34/100, "Zoolander 2" rated 34/100, "The 5th Wave" rated 33/100, "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" rated 33/100, "Independence Day: Resurgence" rated 32/100, "Ride Along 2" rated 32/100, "Warcraft" rated 32/100, "Get a Job" rated 31/100, "Boo! A Madea Halloween" rated 30/100, "Fifty Shades of Black" rated 28/100, "London Has Fallen" rated 28/100, "When the Bough Breaks" rated 28/100, "Nina" rated 27/100, and "The Choice" rated 26/100.

The titles that made it to the top 10 worst movies of 2016 out of the 25 are "Man Down" rated 26/100, "Gods of Egypt" rated 25/100, "The Sea of Trees" rated 23/100, "Yoga Hosers" rated 23/100, "Search Party" rated 22/100, "Max Steel" rated 22/100, "Norm of the North" rated 21/100, "Dirty Grandpa" rated 18/100, "Mother's Day" rated 18/100, and last but not the least, "Nine Lives" rated 11/100.

Variety's film critics Peter Debruge and Owen Gleiberman outlined the best movies of 2016 so far. The movies that made it to the top 10 films of 2016 according to Owen Gleiberman include "La La Land," "Hell Or High Water," "Manchester By The Sea," "I Am Not Your Negro," "Jackie," "Sully," "Don't Think Twice," "Snowden," Deadpool," and "Patriots Day." Best movies of 2016 according to Peter Debruge are "Hell Or High Water," "Moonlight," "Miles Ahead," "Toni Erdmann," "Christine," "Elle," "Fences," "La La Land," "Your Name," and "Paterson."

The titles are up for debate, however. But some of their reviews hit close to home, with most of the worst movies of 2016 received disappointing viewer ratings while most that made it to the best movies of 2016 are predicted to be award winning contenders.
