The wait is over for the avid supporters of the highly-acclaimed "Halo" video game series from developer 343 Industries. Another epic update called the "Monitor's Bounty" was bestowed upon "Halo 5: Guardians," and gamers can finally get their hands on the latest expansion free of charge.

The Game Developer Has Been Generous With More Free Contents

The latest "Halo" video game, "Halo 5: Guardians," was launched back on Oct. 27, 2015, and has since released 10 major contents for free, with "Monitor's Bounty" the latest among its massive updates.

"[It] is an epic salvo of experience-enhancing additions, from new weapons, armor, and skins, to brand new ways to build and play, all alongside the biggest Forge update ever seen in a Halo game," the game developer wrote for the trailer's description.

The "Halo 5: Guardians" promises to bring forth the most dramatic storyline the "Halo" franchise has ever come up with. It also has more content, multiplayer experience, and diversity as compared to the previous installments.

What to Expect From the Latest & Free DLC Expansion "Monitor's Bounty"

The game developers teased the fans with more weapons and vehicles in the new trailer for "Halo 5: Guardians" latest update "Monitor's Bounty." They also assured gamers that there will be new assassinations, more than 600 new objects to acquire, and new canvasses. And, according to GameSpot, the gamers will also be provided with never-before-seen Warzone maps. There will also be some additional features, such as custom game browser and an Observer mode.

"Halo 5: Guardians" was published by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One gaming platform. This popular video game is available for purchase at the Microsoft Store site where it is listed at a price of $39.99.
