Hugh Jackman's Old Man Logan has been exposed in the first set photos for the X-Men offshoot. "Wolverine 3" is looking completely different. The first trailer for Wolverine 3: Logan" is finally out for viewing, featuring the older version of Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart's character.

Hugh Jackman and Wolverine have become almost the same since the Aussie actor first donned the iconic pointy haircut and a shiny claw in 2000's X-Men, and now he's back for another solo movie that was initially referred to as "Wolverine 3."

After so much anticipation, the first trailer for "Wolverine 3: Logan" arrived in a whirlwind of 15 certificate harshness and violence. Honestly, it looks amazing to the score of Johnny Cash's Hurt we see a crushed down Wolverine caring a weak Professor X in the dessert before their paths cross with a young girl who is mostly like Logan.

Full of sorrow, laced with death and all the mutants have gone. It also becomes ultra violent explaining that 15 rating. This looks like a very grown up Wolverine.

Most of the "Wolverine 3" clip focused on nominal character as Professor X asks him to protect another mutant, a young girl named Laura thought to be X-23. There are lots of shots of Wolverine, Xavier, and maybe Laura in a truck together; at first, it's just Logan and Xavier, and later on Laura joins the faction.

"Wolverine 3" definitely looks like a post-apocalyptic type of movie. The Johnny Cash soundtrack adds to that vibe.

Logan is set in the future of the complicated X-Men timeline where mutants are nowhere to be found and Wolverine's powers have finally started to deteriorate. The first trailer of the film surprised the fans by bringing a Western-style approach, which branches out into an R-rated adventure.

Fox has shown the opening act of "Wolverine 3" at a press event and the reactions have been incredibly positive. Director James Mangold has said he is looking at Wolverine comic book story lines for inspiration, including "Old Man Logan."
