"Teen Wolf" Season 6 cast news notes on the possibility that Tyler Hoechlin will be returning to Beacon Hills as Derek Hale. There have been hints that some characters will be returning to the series finale of the MTV series.

Of course, fan-favorite character Derek Hale is expected to be appearing in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. As Bustle notes in its report, Hoechlin announced his departure from the show in order to pursue roles in movies.

Hoechlin definitely has his plate full after leaving "Teen Wolf" since he was able to score roles in "Supergirl" as well as "Fifty Shades Darker." The actor also previously explained that he does not see himself returning to the show since he felt that his character's story is already done.

Despite Hoechlin's statement, many fans continue to remain hopeful that Derek will be appearing in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. As MTV reports, it still remains to be seen which one of the characters will be able to remember Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) first.

Many are expecting that Lydia (Holland Roden) will be the first to remember Stiles in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. However, it would be such a treat if Derek comes in and rescues Stiles. Of course, it would not be exactly a mystery if his best friend, Scott (Tyler Posey) will be the one to remember him first.
