'Designated Survivor' Winter Finale "The Oath" Spoilers, Recap & Predictions: Promises To "Make America Gasp" So Kirkman Gets Shot?

"Designated Survivor" Season 1 Episode 9 "The Blueprint" Recap: (Spoilers ahoy!) Hannah Is On To MacLeish. The ever dedicated FBI Agent wants to get into the bottom of the MacLeish in an effort to save her colleague. In the previous "Designated Survivor" episode, Hannah got a tip from an anonymous woman she tracked down telling her to check numbers 11 and 14. It was revealed in this episode that the clue was related to MacLeish, and it was during the time when his group slaughtered 3 villages.

Contrary to his team's recollection of what happened, Hannah realized that he was not a hero, he is a war criminal. Moreover, she also discovered that MacLeish and Catalan, the major suspect in the Capitol bombing, was in the same brigade. As Hannah raced through time in reaching Washington to hand over the evidence against MacLeish to Kimble, she was hit by a truck in an intersection. Thankfully, she will be alright.

The Government Whistleblower. The penultimate episode of the first season started with a breach of information through a government whistleblower who sought refuge in Venezuela, which threatened Emily's job. The whistleblower sacrificed his life and career for a 5-minute meeting with the President.

During the meeting, the whistleblower gave the President a flash drive saying that be careful whom he shows the file 12-ADC to. As it turns out, it was a blueprint showing the worst case scenario if bombs were to be placed in the correct spot on the Capitol Hill. As revealed, the blueprint was planned in 2013 by the NSA which is exactly how the Capitol bombing happened. The "Designated Survivor" episode aptly titled "The Blueprint" ended with Kirkman realizing that there is a traitor amongst them.

"Designated Survivor" Winter Finale Spoilers. The winter finale teaser showed MacLeish with a quite ominous stare. Was he proclaimed as VP? Suffering from a head wound, Hannah was seen hiding from a man who seems to be chasing after someone. Is Kimble in cahoots with MacLeish? Kirkman is delivering a speech to the American people. As he was speaking, Hannah and the POTUS' CIA bodyguard seem to be on the lookout and as Hannah turned around, people started shouting. "Designated Survivor" winter finale entitled "The Oath" which promises to "make America grasp" will air on December 14, 2016.
