Apple's highly-anticipated anniversary device is expected to launch in 2017 and with it a massive load of new features and jaw-dropping specifications. Recent reports reveal the price of the upcoming device and the best features it has to offer.

The Apple iPhone 8 is definitely a device surrounded by a lot of controversies, especially with how tech fans received the iPhone 7 nd iPhone 7 Plus. Apple's latest iPhone that totally ditched the 3.5mm audio jack is still a relevant issue today, especially since it has fans thinking of what other radical moves Apple might dish out with the iPhone 8.

In a recent report by the Wall Street Journal, the upcoming iPhone 8 already has more than ten prototypes in the name of development. With that progress in mind, it is likely that the device will be released in 2017. The expectations regarding the iPhone 8 and the specifications and features the device will sport is definitely high since it is Apple's 10th Anniversary iPhone.

Moreover, Mirror reports that the iPhone 8 will have a curved OLED display along with a full glass body. This feature alone is definitely a new feat in smartphones and not easy to produce. Having an all glass front means that Apple will remove the physical home button and other exterior controls to make this aesthetically pleasing feature materialize.

In addition, the curved screen is also limited to aesthetic purposes, much similar to that of Samsung's Galaxy S7 Edge. It is worth mentioning that Samsung's sales did rise because of this feature. It is possible the Apple hopes to follow suit in the trend of curved OLED displays when it releases its anniversary smartphone in 2017 as per The Christian Times.

As for the price of the iPhone 8, considering the major design revamp, the phone is expected to cost much more compared to previous models. Given that the 32GB iPhone 7 costs £599, while the iPhone 7 Plus starts at £719, Apple may knock off £100 from the price as it has done in the past.

The iPhone 8 is also said to have better wireless charging as compared to existing devices that already have this feature. The glass body of the iPhone 8 is said to be a key in making wireless charging a real breakthrough experience, since present smartphones with wireless charging perform rather poorly, with slow charging and limited mobility.

If reports stay true ,the iPhone 8 will be on the shelves by September 2017. Stay tuned to News Everyday for more updates on the latest devices.
