Final Fantasy XV News: Free New Updates For All Of 2017 Include Playable NPCs, “God Mode” And More
Square Enix has officially marked out its plans for Final Fantasy XV next year and it looks like gamers are going to get it good as the videogame developer promises to provide free content for the newest Final Fantasy video game.
Thanking gamers for their continued support for Final Fantasy XV, Square Enix just announced yesterday that it would be providing free updates for Final Fantasy XV all throughout 2017.
The first thing that the videogame developer will see to is making enhancements to the Final Fantasy 15 gameplay for Chapter 13 of the game. According to Digital Trends, there have been numerous complaints to FFXV's Chapter 13 with a few gamers saying that the gameplay feels hurried, reminding them of the poorly written FFXIII. Now, with new FFXV gameplay being prepared, gamers hope that chapter 13 may become a more entertaining section of the game for players to course through.
Square Enix is also planning to add more elements to Final Fantasy XV story by adding in some more scenes that would give gamers a better grasp of the motivations of the game's different characters. Everyone is finally going to learn what made Ravus choose the path that he did. Square Enix is also planning a few new options for playthroughs, a new "god mode" and a new feature called "NewGame+" as well. Gamers can also expect the possibility of new bosses and time hunts in FF15 next year.
One of the most interesting update to note however is that Square Enix plans to make a few NPC characters officially playable in FF15 as well. While many speculate that these NPC characters could be none other than Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus, others hope that Square Enix could also let gamers bring in new members to the FF15 party. Wouldn't it be interesting to have Aranea the mercenary, or Iris, Gladioulus' sister as playable characters in the game?
For now, gamers will just have to wait and see how these planned updates will enhance Final Fantasy XV.
